You can select colors from gradient. You can make shades accordingly. Drag and move the colors close to the gradient. 

Save the name from gradients. The gradient can be changed by clicking on it. These can be replaced by the current gradients. 
The type of gradients can also be changed. The settings of photoshop will be used for applying gradient.
